Barwaaqo University (BU)

The Somaliland education system is weak at all levels-kindergarten through university- and in turn is failing the students and the Somaliland economy. The unfortunate product of the poor education system is a cohort of unemployable graduates. The skills demanded do not match the skills supplied, and the needs for employers and the economy go unfilled. Therefore Barwaaqo University will meet this gap by becoming the first quality university that will contribute to the re-start of the Somali education system.
